Areas We Can Help With
-
We have the ability to provide certified copies of a document. This is done simply by booking an appointment and providing us with the original document.
Once the original is provided, copies of the original document will be made and our notary will certify these copies by attaching our notarial certificate and seal.
We recommend providing the original document for us to take copies of rather than providing copies for us to certify.
You will need to bring with you:
your current valid passport or a current driver's licence which has a photo of you endorsed on the same; and
the original of any documents you require to be certified.
Please contact us if you wish to make an appointment.

If a document needs to be signed and witnessed in New Zealand for use overseas, you can bring the completed document, with all information completed except for your signature.
The document will then be signed in the presence of our notary and we will complete the witnessing of the document by attaching our notarial certificate and seal.
We recommend you contact the overseas authority to ensure the form and content of the document are correct prior to your appointment as we cannot guarantee the requirements of other countries.
You will need to bring with you:
your current valid passport or a current driver's licence which has a photo of you endorsed on the same; and

Why do I have to have my document further stamped after visiting the Notary?
Before certain New Zealand Issued documents can be accepted overseas, Authentication or Apostille may be necessary. The Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) in Wellington will certify that a Notarial signature and seal on a document Is genuine by checking It against a specimen of the Notary's signature and seal held on file and then the document will be AUTHENTICATED or APOSTILLE certified.
