Mel Wenlock

TRUST ACCOUNT & COMPLIANCE ASSISTANT

Mel grew up in Mosgiel and has also lived in Christchurch and Perth, working a variety of jobs along the way. She first joined Mactodd in 2013 and spent several years with the firm before relocating from Queenstown in 2019. Mel has also worked at a couple of other law firms, where she completed her legal executive papers.

She returned to the Mactodd team in 2022, initially working remotely, before relocating back to the stunning Central Otago region — where she works from our Cromwell office.

Mel assists our Trust Account Manager, working proactively with authors and directors, and supports our AML/CFT Compliance team, ensuring all captured activities strictly align with New Zealand Law Society regulations and firm policies.

Mel prides herself on providing prompt service with a smile, with a focus on efficiency, regulatory accuracy, and supporting Mactodd's commitment to exceptional client service.

Outside of work, Mel enjoys keeping fit, walking her dog, gardening, running and yoga.
