Emma Campbell

SOLICITOR

Emma joined Mactodd in March 2025. Prior to that, Emma worked at the University of Otago in Christchurch.

Emma has strong ties to the Central Otago region and grew up in Dunedin where she completed degrees in law and history at the University of Otago before going on to complete a Master of Arts in history. Emma has published on the use of personal testimonies in New Zealand’s Official History of the Second World War.

Emma is a member of the Asia New Zealand Foundation’s Leadership Network which aims to support young New Zealanders to take on active roles in fostering strong ties between Asia and New Zealand.  

Outside of the office, Emma enjoys making the most of the outdoor lifestyle in Central Otago, pilates, writing papers, and spending time with friends.
