EMPOWERING OUR COMMUNITY, ENRICHING LIVES.

The Mactodd Community Charitable Trust (formerly known as ADEPT) is a philanthropic organisation dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of our community.

Mactodd Lawyers have been the stewards of the Trust for 45 years and have nurtured and grown the investment portfolio during that time. This has enabled an enduring legacy for the future and we acknowledge the vision of the founding trustee and Mactodd partner Alan Macalister.

Focus Areas

While the Trust’s original focus was elderly persons’ housing and health needs, we have expanded it’s purpose to encompass a wider range of community needs.

We collaborate with local organisations, and community leaders to identify areas of need and allocate resources where they can make the most impact.

  • Elderly Health & Wellbeing

Continuing our legacy of funding for programmes and initiatives that support the elderly in our community.

  • Youth Development

Funding programmes and initiatives that foster the education, health, and wellbeing of young people.

  • Community Initiatives

Encompassing a wide variety of projects that foster welfare and services that will improve the quality of life within our community.

  • Environmental Stewardship

Partnering with local organisations to promote sustainability and protect our natural surroundings.

  • Arts & Culture

Investing in local initiatives to enhance and promote cultural engagement among residents and visitors. Creating opportunities for artists and writers to thrive and celebrate in our community whilst building a vibrant and inclusive cultural landscape.
