Experience:

Dale began her practising career with MACTODD after being admitted to the bar in 1990 and became a partner in 2006. She currently heads the firm's litigation team with Richard Cunliffe, a natural progression after working in the NZ Justice Department (Christchurch Court) and in legal administration, before graduating with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Canterbury in 1989.

During a period of leave from MACTODD Dale undertook editorial work for a legal publisher, tertiary level tutoring and consulting work in the Pacific Islands.

Since her return in 2003 she has run a general practice with a focus on litigation developing her expertise particularly in family property and protection, civil law specialising in property and business disputes, as well as employment, licensing, criminal law and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Dale is a Ministry of Justice appointed Lawyer for Child and a Youth Advocate. She is also an accredited LEADR mediator.

Her young family requires that she keeps fit and ensures she is an active member of the family’s community.
